Fun in the sun!

It's been a fun weekend! To celebrate me being three months and to celebrate mommy and daddy's anniversary-- we went to the beach! It was my first time. I have never seen so much water! It was a little chilly out but I got to put my feet in the sand, and daddy rolled up my pants so that I could feel the water come up. I liked the feeling of my feet in the wet sand, and I wasn't scared at all! We also went for a long walk. Mommy and daddy got ice cream, and when mommy wasn't looking, daddy gave me some of his Blue Moon ice cream to try. Next time we need a better plan if we dont want mommy to find out... When she picked me up she saw that I had blue all over the back of my neck... oops!

"Avril? Like Avril Lavigne?"

Here I am at Daddy's cousin Mandy's party. (I am not the happiest because I was woken up from my nap...)She just got married and we were all at Murray Lake to celebrate. I was meeting people for the first time. It happens so often when Mommy and Daddy introduce me---- I hear, "Avril...? Like Avril Lavigne?" Who is that anyway? I am Avril... Avril Taber.

Games

I'm pretty happy today. I've been playing a game with mommy all day long... She puts my socks on, I take them off when she isn't looking and I hide them. Avril= 1 Mommy =0.
Mommy kisses me and I take the opportunity to latch onto her hair. Avril=2 Mommy=0.
Mommy puts the bottle to my mouth, I smile and shake my head. Avril= 3 Mommy= 0.
Mommy then thinks I am not hungry and puts the bottle down... I scream. Avril =4 Mommy=0

All I want before Christmas is my two front teeth!

Im teething I tell you! Ask anyone. Just because you can't see something, doesn't mean its not there. I am drooling constantly, my gummies hurt, and I can fit my two hands in my mouth and keep them there for long periods of time. That cool-to-touch jelly like teether is my new best friend. Watch and see, Ill have my two front teeth before I know it! Bring on the real food, I'm getting tired of my soy cereal mix I have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Thank you Uncle Alex and Gma! I got a package yesterday in the mail that had some really great clothes! Uncle Alex knows me so well and picked out a black and white outfit from Baby Gap and I also got some Nike Booties and a hooded sweatshirt! Even though it had MY name on it (AVRIL TABER) mommy opened it for me! I was sleeping, but still! Its not too often one receives packages! Ay yi yi

I saw a tank top I liked yesterday that said "Photo's with Baby-- .50 cents a piece!" I would have a pretty good piggy bank full if I were to charge my mom for each and every picture she takes...

I'd like to say I will post pictures soon, but mommy's camera wont hold any more pictures-- and she cant stand the thought of erasing any... So ill work with her on that so you can see how big I am getting! If all else fails-- Danica and I have a photo shoot next week.

Lunch with Daddy

Friday's are great because Mommy and I get to have a long lunch with Daddy. Today I am disappointed to say that I slept through the entire lunch! I was all smiles and so happy on the way to pick him up, but then I couldn't help falling asleep. (I blame this on the rice cereal... it fills my belly and makes me soo sleepy!) They didn't even try to wake me! So then I just woke up really anxious to see him but he wasn't there. :( Mommy says we will make up for it by having a really fun night together, and maybe even take a walk. I am excited for the weekend!

I'm a music girl!

Those of you who know me know that I do NOT like to be craddled unless I am sleepy, and even then I like to snuggle up on mommy and daddy's chest. I really like sitting up like a big girl so I can see everything. Well what is great is that Larra let me borrow a little chair that helps me to sit up on my own! Mommy says it will also help with my posture. This morning mommy sat in front of me and held my hands and we sang songs! Singing makes me so happy. Mommy knows so many songs, I cant keep them all straight!

I'm big, she's little!

Danica is here! Mommy, Daddy and I went to see her in the hospital and I got to see the nice nurse that took care of me when I was born! It was so much fun. Danica is so little! She only weighs 5 pounds and I weigh 10 pounds, so I am much bigger than her. I will teach her everything I know! I am growing up.
